Hi!  You’re probably wondering how I got interested in genealogy!  After losing my parents at a young age, I became interested in genealogy when I was 21 and my dad’s family located my siblings and me. I discovered he was from a family of thirteen children!  His oldest brother and my dad (the youngest) were the only two deceased.  I got the privilege of meeting all of his siblings alive and their families that year at a family reunion.  This got me thinking, who all else was out there I didn’t know?  I have since added over 3,000 to my family tree just on my dad’s side (that don’t include my mother’s side).

After 35+ years of research helping friends and co-workers, I decided to turn it into a career.   I have taken many courses through NGS, Ancestry and FamilySearch, and attended national, federal and local conferences in over seven states. I have attended genealogical institutes and ProGen51. I volunteer for six genealogy sites doing research and at my local library and genealogical society.

For ten years, I have been on the board of Wichita Genealogical Society.  I have a member the Kansas Council of Genealogical Societies Board and currently hold the position of President and conference chairman.

My husband and I have raised four wonderful boys and have seven grandchildren who are the light of our life.  We live in the country, right outside of Wichita, Kansas, with our German Shepard.  We love the wheat fields and open space!

I hope you will allow me to help you discover your family history!
